Unlike conventional internal discharge resistors that often fall short in performance and reliability, our dedicated discharge coil stands out. It delivers unparalleled technical security, crucial for maintaining safe voltage levels and ensuring the smooth operation of parallel capacitor substations.

For paramount operational safety and reliability, it is recommended to use a single-star connected capacitor bank. This method allows each phase capacitor bank to be directly paralleled with its corresponding discharge coil. The secondary winding connects in an open delta configuration with protection relays, safeguarding against unbalanced voltage incidents. Should any phase suffer component damage, the unbalanced voltage protection swiftly detects the issue and disconnects the capacitor, ensuring reliable protection performance. Our discharge coil is engineered to provide precision and high reliability, preventing disruptions and maintaining optimal functionality.

In large capacitor assemblies, where capacitors operate in parallel, internal fuses manage faults. Any capacity imbalance can lead to electrical faults or undue stress on specific phases. LUOKE's discharge coils, equipped with intermediate taps, measure tap voltages accurately across connected phases. Utilizing two independent secondary windings in a differential setup, they work in harmony with protection relays for differential protection. This ensures safety switches act promptly to protect capacitors from grid instability. Grounding Mount: Secure the discharge coil mounting foot with proper grounding, particularly in northern cold regions, to prevent issues such as high-side short circuits during routine winter maintenance or snow clearing. 4. Transport Stability: During transport, the product must remain balanced and never be placed upside down to avoid damage. 5. Handling: Exercise caution when handling, ensuring the product is not subjected to hard impacts or scratches. 6. Polarity: Strictly prohibit any secondary reverse polarity, secondary circuit short circuits, and multi-point grounding, as these can lead to operational failures. 7. Installation Orientation: When side-mounted, ensure the secondary wiring is not covered, as this is strictly prohibited to maintain electrical integrity. 8. Water Protection: For side-mounted products, ensure secondary wiring leads are positioned downward to prevent water ingress, which could lead to secondary wiring short circuits.
